As we prepare for another season of soccer I think it is important to remind everybody of the responsibilities they have as players, coaches and parents in the Shelton Youth Soccer Organization. Each player, coach, and parent is an ambassador for the program and the town of Shelton. SYSO is a highly respected program throughout the state and that is due in large part to the way we conduct ourselves. I am asking every player, coach, and parent to review the Code of Conduct each of you agreed to abide by when you committed to SYSO. Competition can be both exciting and frustrating and we all know calls don’t always go our way. How each one of us handles these situations is a reflection of our individual character. How we are perceived by outsiders is important but how we are perceived by our peers and, more importantly, how we are perceived by our children can have a lasting effect that goes well beyond the game. The game is only a part of life and there will be triumphs and disappointments along the way. Not everybody can be a star every day but everybody is valuable every day.

Travel Team Players,

The 2nd Travel Soccer Installment of $250.00 is due by Wednesday, 9/1/10, to avoid late fee of $25.

All balances must be paid in full including late fees in order to be eligible to play.

Click on the Travel tab at the top of the SYSO home page and then scroll down to Registration for more information. 

Checks should be made payable to SYSO and player's name and team recorded in the memo section. Mail to SYSO, PO Box 2375, Shelton, CT 06484. Postmark must be on or before 9/1 to avoid late fee.

    

The Fall 2010 Recreation Season will begin on Saturday, September 11th. 

Coaches meeting with take place on Wednesday, September 1st.  All players will be contacted after the meeting.
